A Timing For All Things To Come To Pass

    "Timing" is different than
               "Time" itself .

A Word From the Lord

If we look up the definition of the word "Time" this is what it means:  A limited period during which an action, process or condition exists or takes place.  It is a moment or period chosen as appropriate for something to be done or to take place and a period required, allocated or taken to complete an activity.

And if we look up the word "Timing" it means:  The ability to choose or the choice of the best moment to do or say something and the judgement to act.

God does not work in our time as we know it, yet there is a specific timing for all things to come to pass.  This is where preparation, training and discipline come into play.  Your position and place are key.  This is the season to set your mind on things above.

God does not live in our 24hr. cycle of time. He lives in all time, forever time.  He is not limited to our time.  He created time itself.  In His time He brought forth man and all living things, He brought them out of eternity.  He has always existed and will forever be.  Understand the concept of forever, always and eternity.  Grasp a new revelation of a dimension that is here in the now, but unable to see with the natural eye.  Discern whats around you, scope out the playing field, test the waters to see if they are pure.

A new breed of warriors I am raising up out of the dark places.  They have seen things that the common man has not; the spiritual realm is real and they have seen, experienced and know the realm of the demonic and supernatural.  I will bring them up out of the pits of darkness for a witness and testimony unto me and the grace will be overwhelming to those who have walked in that darkness.

This is the time for an awakening for my people to seek me with an open heart and listening ears.  The trumpet is sounding and calling my people to repentance and salvation for the deliverance of the past.  As they lay it all down, I will pick it up and remove it from their dwelling and their house shall be called a house of prayer.  The idles of yesterday will fall and all eyes will be open to see that I am, that I am, because you will conquer those things in your life that have defeated you in times past.  I have placed a conquering spirit upon you My people, no more defeated attitude, but victory, peace, rest and a joy to fill your heart.

Season's come and season's go, but time is forever.  Your past has layed foundations of either good or bad, but in My timing those foundations will fall if they are not founded and established in My word.  Time was set in motion in the beginning, the beginning of a fixed period of time.  I layed the foundations of what this world was to be and so time as you know it began. You all have a beginning and a past and are set on a course to your future. Will you walk in your today or will you turn to your yesterday. Your destiny is ahead and the momentum has begun and can not be stopped.  Soon time as you know it will all fade away and time will be no more and eternity will take it's position in My plan.  For I hold time in My hands and I measure it with the span of the heavens. Your life here on earth is but a fleeting moment compared to forever and eternity, so look up My people for your redemption draws nigh unto you says the Spirit of God.

The Resurrection Of Lazarus-The Church Today Part II

Continuing with Part II of "The Resurrection of Lazarus-The Church of Today".

Our main scripture text is found in John 11:1-14 and let us pick up where we left on at that is with verse 7.

Verse 7:  Then after that saith He to his disciples, let us go into Judea again.

I will be focusing on specific words in these verses so we can have a better understanding of what He is saying to His church.  So what is He saying to us in verse 7?

Let's first look at the word "disciples" and what it represents to us.

If we go to Ungers bible dictionary it says that: A disciple is one that takes instruction, is a student, believer of the one he follows, a supporter, one who is open to be taught, a devotee and tries to act like the one they follow.

When we read scripture we find that Jesus's disciples didn't really understand who He was nor did they realize the importance of their call to be disciples.  They couldn't look beyond the now circumstances to see that Jesus had destiny and a purpose for their lives. It wasn't until Jesus's death, burial and His resurrection did they realize that he was who He said He was.  Some of the disciples denied Him, some were fearful of man and what man would do to them if they claimed to be His disciples.  Some walked in unbelief that He actually rose from the grave and that He had appeared to some of the other disciples.

This is the mind set of some of His disciples even today within the church.  We really don't believe that we as disciples can go and do the works that He did. We know who Jesus is, but do we really know Him intimately? Are we really willing to follow Him no matter what happens in our lives?  We want to keep Him in our box and we think we have Him all figured out, but do we really understand Him and His resurrection power. Beloved, we are the church and Jesus has called us to not only follow Him, but to go forth and be a disciple that brings in the harvest and to reproduce ourselves as Christ did. It's called multiplication!

The last part of verse 7 says:  Let us go into Judea.

Another aspect of being a disciple of Jesus is allowing Him to take you into the "wilderness of preparation and testings".

Ungers bible dictionary says that:  Judea was known to be a wilderness, barren and an unsuitable area for the growth of a city.

Judea was also the wilderness were John the Baptist went in preparation for his mission and ministry and where the Jesus was tested by satin and where he fasted for 40 days.

Are you willing to go into Judea with Jesus?  The other question is: are you willing to go "again" into the wilderness of preparation, testings and are you willing to confront some areas that will be exposed while in this season?

Verse 8:  His disciples say unto Him, Master, the Jews of late sought to stone thee, and goest thou thither again?

Verse 9:  Jesus answered, are there not twelve hours in the day?  If any man walk in the day, he stumbleth not, because he seeth the light of this world.

If we are truly walking in the day; then we are walking in the truth of God's word.  We are moving forward and ready to go the distance, because we see that it is time for action, we are not to stand back and wait for another day, another time or season. We are to work the works of Him who sends us while it is day.  We are to progress, grow and step into the light of day that brings revelation, truth and understanding.  And if we walk in the light (Jesus and His word) our path will become clearer and the road to destiny and purpose will be illuminated with life and resurrected power.

Verse 10:  But if a man walk in the night, he stumbleth, because there is no light in him.

When we walk in the night(a lack of God word, His truth); then we walk in ignorance and we lack understanding. Our walk is unsteady, we become vulnerable to the enemy and we walk in the shadows of confusion and fear.  We become blinded by the night and our future becomes dimmed by the darkness of night and we lose hope.

Beloved, He is calling you to step out of complacency....step out of the night of slumber and from your yesterday and into the light of your today..... walk in the light of life because in Him is life and our life is the light that is within us.....shine the light of Jesus into those dark places of your life and let that light bring resurrection power into your life.  He is the light and where He is; darkness has to flee.  Step into the light of the truth of the gospel!  How are we going to make it in the night seasons of our lives if we don't know the truth that leads us into the path of light and into our tomorrow? Walk in newness of life and let the old thing pass away.

The Resurrection of Lazarus - The Church of Today Part I

Recently the Holy Spirit gave me a word for the church and He told me that the enemy had released more demons upon the earth. He said that satin senses that time is short and he wants to do all that he can to stop the church of Jesus Christ.

He also said that we would hear more and more about the occult, witchcraft, strange happening in the earth, a darkness of fear that would spread over the lands, deceptive voices and a falling away,  but we were not to fear, because Jesus was about to resurrect His church in power and victory.

The Lord said, before restoration can come, a resurrection has to take place.

I will be teaching from the book of John chapter 11 verses 1-44 and will be going into detail concerning some key words and giving the meaning to better understand what the Lord is saying to us. Let's being with verse 1

Verse 1:  Now a certain man was sick, Lazarus of Bethany, the village of Mary and her sister Martha.

The word "sick" in this scripture means: To be feeble, diseased and comes from a word that means strength less.

And the word "Lazarus" means:  To desist, to despond, cause to despair, one that is desperate and to be of no hope.

In Proverbs 13:12 it says:  Hope deferred makes the heart sick.

The word "Lazarus" in this verse is representative of those in the body of Christ that have become despondent and distant to the voice of the spirit.  They have allowed the enemy to bring death to their hopes and dreams because they choose to walk in despair.  They have been looking through the shroud of death that has distorted their view; therefore they have become feeble in their faith, they see no hope and the enemy has put a death sentence of them.

The word "Bethany" in this verse means:  House, a place of unripe figs or unfruitful.

Bethany, which was a village that lay East of the Jordan river, was known as the house of misery, because of it's location that was said to be a lonely situation and also because of the invalids who congregated their.

Spiritually speaking, Bethany represents the place that we the body of Christ can sometimes find ourselves in.  Remember one of the meanings of Bethany represented a place of unripe figs or unfruitful?  It's interesting to note that the fig trees leaves are figurative of the outward manifestation of life in the tree and a faded leaf shows a lack of moisture and nourishment, thus becomes an emblem of adversity and decay.

The fruit of the tree, the fig itself meant productiveness and was a token of peace and divine favor.  "Now hear what the Spirit is saying".  The fig tree differs from most other fruit trees in that it's fruit is green and inconspicuous and concealed among leaves until near the time of ripening.

Can you perceive what the Spirit is saying to us?  You see, the Lord has hidden, protected and concealed away a people that have been tested by fire, trained by the Holy Spirit, died to self and are ready to be reveal unto a lost and dieing world.  They will show forth the fruits of the Spirit in power and authority.  They will speak forth the word of God with boldness that is tempered with grace because of where, what and how God brought them out of their darkness of death and despair and resurrected their lives for His glory and for their Divine destiny and purpose.

Verse 2:  And it was the Mary who anointed the Lord with ointment and wiped His feet with her hair, whose brother Lazarus was sick.

Verse 3:  The sisters therefore sent to Him, saying, "Lord, behold, he whom you love is sick".

Verse 4:  But when Jesus heard it, He said, "This sickness is not unto death, but for the glory of God, that the Son of God may be glorified by it".

The word "sickness" in this verse means:  Weakness, an active disease, bondage's and strongholds.

And the word "death" means:  Cease to function or perform with power.

Body of Christ, the sickness, the bondage's and strongholds that seem to be controlling your life, weakening your faith, testimony and depleting you of power will not bring a death to your life physically or spiritually.  Yes, the Spirit has been cutting away at the flesh and pealing away at the layers to expose the sin and sickness so He can work His glory through you and a resurrection of life and power can take place in you.  Lord, be glorified in our lives.

Verse 5:  Now Jesus loved Martha, and her sister, and Lazarus.

Verse 6:  When therefore He heard that he was sick, He stayed then two days longer in the place where He was.

The word "stayed" in verse 6 means:  To make your abode in a given place, state or
relation.

And the word "two" has a spiritual significance that can either mean:  Difference, opposition, enmity or division.

Some of us in the body of Christ are in a state of indifference, division and our hearts have been hardened because of a lack of grace and unforgiveness.  Our relationship with Jesus is not where is should be because we have lost our first love.  We have sought for more power financially, more status and the approval of man rater than the approval of God.  When
things become difficult and opposition comes we want to blame everything on the devil or on God and not look at ourselves and the condition of our hearts.  We haven't got to thepoint of wanting Jesus and power of the Holy Spirit enough to say, Ok Lord, what ever it takes, You lead and I'll follow.  Remember:  The Holy Spirit will stay right where you place Him in your lives because He is a gentleman and He won't force himself on anyone.

Next week part II.

The Soul and How It Affects Our Lives Part III

Let's continue with part III of our teaching on "The Soul and How It Affects Our Lives" and talk about verse 24 of James chapter 1.

Verse 24:  For he beholdeth himself, and goeth his way, and straight-way forgetteth what manner of man he was.

So we see ourselves with clarity and realize who we really are because the word of God has exposed and shined the light of truth on those flawed areas in our lives. As long as we continue looking into the Word of God we have a check and balance process going on but if we lay it down we soon forget who we really are and the picture becomes distorted.

Verse 25:  But whoso looketh into the perfect law of liberty, and continueth therein he being not a forgetful hearer, but a doer of the word, this man shall be blessed in his deed.

The word looketh in verse 25 means:  To bend over for a better look and look into.

And we look into what?  The perfect law of liberty which is the new covenant through Jesus that brings us perfect liberty and healing of the Soul as Psalms 19:7a says:

Psalms 19:7a  The law of the Lord is perfect, converting the Soul.

The perfect law of the Lord is the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus who has set us free by transforming our old nature and is continuing to change our character through the truth of God's word as John 8:31 & 32 tells us:

Verse 31:  If you abide(stay, take up residence) in my word, then you are truely disciples of Mine.
Verse 32:  And you shall know the truth and the truth shall make you free.

In order for us to walk in the truth, we must first know what that truth is.  If we look up the simple word "truth" this is what it means:  Unconcealed.

So walking in the "truth" means that sometimes you have to uncover things and they could be things that you don't want to uncover or maybe never realized there were things that needed to be uncovered in your Heart and Soul.  But it's not until you allow the Word of God to reveal and uncover those things, deal with them, become open, transparent and honest with yourself and God are you going to walk in truth, liberty and freedom in your Heart and Soul.

Beloved walking in, depression, oppression, anger, bitterness, resentment and  unforgiveness is allowing strongholds and bondage's to keep you captive and walking in darkness.  If you are walking in any of these area's then you're not walking in freedom and truth and your Soul is not prospering.

We need to remember that we have a Soul, and we are responsible for what we do with that Soul.  We can know the truth, walk in it and be prosperous or we can live a lie, stay in our bondage's and live with our strongholds and miss the freedom God has ordained for us to walk in.

God is giving us a choice as Deuteronomy 30:15, 16 & 19 tells us:

          Verse 15:  See, I have set before you today life and prosperity, and death and adversity;
Verse 16:  In that I command you today to love the Lord your God, to walk in His ways and to keep His commandment's and His statutes and His judgements, that you may live and multiply, and that the Lord your God may bless you in the land where you are entering to possess it.
Verse 19:  I call heaven and earth to record this day against you, that I have set before you life and death, blessings and cursing:  Therefore choose life, that both thou and they seed may live.

Hear what the Spirit is saying and see through the eyes of the Spirit.  Let Him show you in His word so you can perceive the truth, know the truth and enter into that truth that will bring life, healing and prosperity to your Soul.

The Soul and How Does it Affect Our Lives Part II

Do you have a Prosperous Soul or a deficient, weak, broken and impoverished Soul?

A prosperous Soul is full of joy and peace.  If you are depressed, you need to wake up and realize that somewhere along the road of life your Soul has been wounded or maybe even fragmented because of past relationships, trauma or from the affects of past sins.

If you can't seem to grow spiritually or prosper in character, relationships or with God, then you should realize that your Soul is not right.

If your sick in mind, your Soul is sick.  If your sad it's because your Soul is sad.  If your having problems in your life, most likely it started in your Soul and it is being manifested in other ways.  Your Soul (remember is made up of your mind, will and emotions) is the key to success in your christian life.  If your Soul prospers, your whole life will prosper.

If your mind, emotions and will prosper, you will do the will of the Father, but if they are poor, you will not do the will of God as Romans 12:2 tells us:

Verse 2:  "And be not conformed to this world, but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable and perfect will of God.

I have listed some basic reasons why we have a deficient, weak, broken and  impoverished Soul, and they are:

1.  Because of a lack of knowledge of the word of God.  Hosea 4:6
2.  Having the mind set on the things of the flesh that wage war against the Soul. I Peter 2:11
3.  Being double minded and unstable. James 1:8
4.  Being anxious and controlled by your emotions.  Philippians 4:6-8
5.  Harboring unforgiveness, bitterness and anger in your heart.  Ephesians 4:31 & 32
6.  Being rebellious, stubborn and prideful.  I Samuel 15:23 & James 4:6, 7
7.  Letting fear rule your life.  2 Timothy 1:7

In contrast, I have listed attitudes that describe a prosperous Soul and they are:

1.  A mind always ready to repent or change any negative thought at any time.  Romans 12:2
2.  A mind that meditates on God's word.  Psalms 1:2 & 3
3.  A will that is settled to do God's will only.  Joshua 24:15
4.  A mind set on the spirit that brings life and peace.  Romans 8:6
5.  Walking by faith and not by sight.   II Corinthians 5:7
6.  Submitting, drawing and being humble before God and resisting the devil.
     Jame 4:7-10
7.  Walking in  the Father's love.  John 13:34 & 35

Many of us know the truth, we hear it, but we don't walk in it. We think it in our mind, but we don't follow through and live it.   In other words, we are not doers of the Word.  In James 1:22-25 it tells us:

Verse 22:  But be ye doers of the word, and not hearer's only deceiving your own selves.

What does the word "doers" in this scripture mean?  A performer.

The word is telling us to perform the word and that means taking action.  On the other side, hears only, don't take action.  You sit and hear, but there is no effect or movement. To perform takes effort on your part and putting for energy you caring out the action.

Let's also look are the word "deceiving" in this scripture and see what it means:  To deceive by false reasoning, to be deceptive, lying, misleading, insincere and untrustworthy.

So what happens is we end up misleading ourselves through our reasoning that has been deceived, is insincere and untrustworthy in it's thinking.  We are thinking out of a Soul that is deceived and doesn't want to see the truth.

Verse 23:  For if any be a hearer of the word, and not a doer, he is like unto a man beholding his natural face in a glass.

The word "glass" here means:  Mirror, and is a polished surface that reflects a virtual image and anything that gives a true picture of something else.

You see, he sees his blemishes and imperfections and is moved by what he sees.  As long as he sees his deformities, spots and ugliness, he tries to do something about them.  But on turning away from the mirror (the truth) he forgets and his imperfections no longer bother him.

And so it is with the bible.  As long as one studies it, he sees himself as he really is; he sees the truth that will set his Soul free. The Holy Spirit is then able to show him those things that are in the Soul that need to be healed and dealt with and the hearer now becomes the doer and he conforms to the word of God.

                                                              A word from the Lord

For I say to My people, the truth shall set you free and who ever is free, is free indeed.  I gave you this freedom in the truth of My word....in the knowing of My word.....in the acting upon My word....I call you now to act it out.  Don't just be the one who look at a distance, but be one that takes an active part in working and acting on My truth, because there is freedom, liberty and a peace that will fare reach anything you could try and find on you own and joy that will fill your heart with a steadfast longing to know the truth even in a greater dimension than ever before. For the dimension of My truth can not be measured.  It is forever accomplishing what it has been intended to do and goes on forever until it is fulfilled.  I say time will stand still as you know it to be so I can accomplish My truth and you will see and you will know that it has been done and is over for my glory and praise.  Look beyond what you see today and live in your tomorrow for I have ordained it to be and thus it shall come.  My truth reaches beyond the boundaries of this world as you know it and soon I will reveal mysteries of my word that have been hidden and an understanding will come in the area's you have struggled in and have not been able to comprehend.  Look into the perfect law of liberty....seek Me and you will find Me, for I am their in your midst says the Spirit of God.

The Soul and How Does it Affect our Lives Part I

As I was praying about this weeks message I felt led to stay on the subject concerning the Soul.

I think this is a subject that many of us really don't understand . My prayer is that by the time this message is completed we will have received greater incite and revelation of the Soul and it's function.

What is the Soul?  It is your mind, your will and your emotions.  Through your Soul is where your thinking and reasoning take place.  Many of us have misunderstood the Soul and how it effects our spiritual life and our flesh, and why?  Because of a lock of knowledge, wrong thinking and wrong teaching.

Let me ask you a question.  How important is the Soul to a Christian?  In III John 2 it tells us:

III John 2:  Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy Soul prosperith.

Beloved, is your Soul prospering?  The words "even as" in this verse causes you to realize that the success in your life will be governed or determined by your Soul.  The prosperity, health and abundance of your life will be "as your Soul prospers or doesn't prospers" - your life in general will prosper or not prosper.

We know that salvation is a spiritual awakening and transformation, because of what II Corinthians 5:17 says.

Verse 17:  If any man be in Christ, he is a new creature.  (But, your body isn't new, nor your thinking, but your Spirit is.)  Old things are passed away, behold, all things are become new.

Spiritually you became a new creature because before you were born again, you were dead spiritually, but alive bodily and you functioned out of the Soulish realm.

Salvation is instantaneous for the Spirit, but not for the Soul.  The Soul is the realm in which salvation progresses, so the Soul does not change when we are born again, our Soul is still the same except it now belongs to God.

For many years I thought that the Spirit and the Soul were the same, but they are not because in I Thessalonians 5:23 it says:

Verse 23:  And the very God of peace sanctify you wholly, and I pray God your whole Spirit and Soul and Body be preserved blameless unto the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.

Let's look at the word whole in verse 23 and what it means:  Complete in every part, perfectly sound and entire.

What it's telling us is the whole man consists of a sound and complete Spirit, Soul and Body.  We know we need to be sanctified spiritually, but we also need to be sanctified soulishly (which is the mind, will and emotions) and this comes by reading, studying and acting upon the word of God everyday.  It has to be a vital part of your life just like eating and sleeping are in order for you to survive and grow.

What are some of the characteristics of the Soul?

          1.  The Soul contain our personality, and our senses operate in our Soul.  Our senses feed information to our Soul, and our Soul then makes decisions according to our senses.  The Soul also contains our emotions, which we call our feelings, and our feelings can change due to what's going on around us.  The Soul reacts to the elements and stimulants of the world.  It contacts the natural realm.

The will of man also functions through our Soul, and our will is our power to make decisions and our power to change.  It is the Soulish realm that needs to be sanctified and it's an area that we have to work on continuously, because our mind, emotions, wills, our senses, personalities and our desires do not instantly change.  They need to be constantly changing, being renewed and worked on and that is a progressive process.

In Genesis 2, the bible tells us that God breathed into man the breath of life and man became a living Soul.  The Soul was that natural life which took place when the spirit and the flesh came together and so now the Soul became the mediator between the body and the spirit and why?  Because everything is filtered through the Soul.

Let me explain this further.  Your spirit receives input from God, your body (flesh) receives input for the world and the Soul stands between them.  The Soul is the go between and can respond and react to either your spirit or your body (flesh).

Each of us makes decisions and establishes your whole life from your Soulish realm.  That's why John said "You will prosper and live in health, even as you Soul prospers".  If your Soul is making wrong decisions and is following the flesh, you are not going to prosper.  Your going to get out of balance spiritually, mentally and physically.  But what do I mean?

Example:  The Spirit prompts you to pray or read the word of God but your flesh wants to be lazy and do something else.  The Soul responds and reacts to the one that is the strongest and more disciplined.  It all goes back to which area are you prospering in?  The body (flesh) wants to have it's way, but the spirit longs after the things of God.

Next week we will talk about a "Prosperous Soul or a Poor Soul.

Elma Garlock

Standing In Your Authority and Power Part IV

Last week we talked about demonic kings and the kingdoms they build in your life.  Beloved, as long as you harbor unforgiveness, bitterness, anger, rebellion, and hatred in your heart the enemy has permission to take you captive and keep you in bondage.  You have left the door wide open for him to come in and set up house.  This is how he builds a strong hold in your life that keeps the soul captive.

We know that the soul consists of the mind, the will and the emotions and our soul is what carries the wounds. These wounds came through our past experiences and also from the effects of the sin in our life.

In Mark 5 is the story of the Gerasene demoniac man and Jesus.  Let's begin with verse 2.

Verse 2:  And when He (Jesus) had come out of the boat, immediately a man from the tombs with an unclean spirit met Him.

Verse 5:  And constantly night and day among the tombs and in the mountains, he was crying out and gashing himself with stones.

Verse 8:  For He (Jesus) had been saying to him, "Come out of the man, you unclean spirit!".

Verse 9:  And He (Jesus) was asking him, "What is your name?"  And he said to Him, "My name is Legion; for we are many."

It says that this man lived "among the tombs."  This is interesting because if we look up the word tombs this is what it says:

Tombs:  The Greek word for tombs is Mnemeion and means:  To remember as a memory, to recall and is a place of the past.

And a Legion is:  A Roman army division that consists of 3,000 to 6,000 soldiers.

A tomb can be a monument set up in your mind that will cause a perpetual remembrance of hurts and the wounds inside your soul and can cause every part of your soul to be controlled by the horrible thing that happened years ago.  It can be the source of wrong thinking and the reason you make bad decision. It can be the root for unhealthy emotions and reactions due to the wounds left from that hurt.

Spiritually speaking the man in the tombs represents a man who lives out of his wounds, the past.  And the wound in his soul allowed the legion spirits to take him captive and build a strong hold to torment him and keep him in bondage.

We all have tombs in our soul and legion (spirits) are attached to those tombs (hurts).  Once we get our souls healed we're going to see and have the power over demonic spirits and their legal right to be their is going to be gone.  Sin forms the wound in the soul.  So in order for you to have a new level of dominion over the area that caused the wound in your soul that wound must be healed.

In II Corinthians 10: 3,4 tells us what we are to do concerning strong holds.

Verse 3:  For though we walk (live) in the flesh, we are not carrying on our warfare according to the flesh and using mere human weapons.

Verse 4:  For the weapons of our warfare are not physical (weapons of flesh and blood), but they are mighty before God for the overthrow and destruction of strong holds.

But how do we overthrow and cause the destruction of strong holds that the enemy has built in our soul?  By doing what Matthew 12: 28 & 29 tells us to do.

Verse 28:  But if I cast out demons by the Spirit of God, then the kingdom of God has come upon you.

Verse 29:  Or how can anyone enter the strong man's house and carry off his property, unless he first binds the strong man?  And then he will plunder his house.

The strong man (the demonic spirits, demons) are the ones that have built the strong holds in your soul.  So in order for us to remove him, we must first bind him and then we can cast him out by the power of the blood of Jesus and the authority of the Spirit of God that is within us.  You see, we carry the Kingdom of God in us and therefore heaven back us up.

So when you bind the enemy what you are doing spiritually is tieing him up firmly as you would wind a cord tightly around something to hold it back or down so you could remove it from it's fixed position.  And when you cast out a demon or spirit (strong man), what you are doing is ejecting it, evicting it, banishing it and expelling it from it's house (soul) where it has built it's strong hold.

Pray and ask the Lord to show you the tombs (wounds) in your soul.  Let the Holy Spirit guide you to the right scriptures that will show you the area's that need to be healed in your soul.  Repent of any sin that is in your life and make a willful choice to forgive those who have hurt you and release them to God.  Bind the enemy by decreeing and declaring scriptures over your soul, your heart, your mind, your will and emotions.  Cast him out and ask the Holy Spirit to heal every wound and fill up every area of your soul with His presence.

The heart of the Father is for His children to walk in liberty and freedom. But in order for us to do that we must learn to "Stand in the Authority and Power" He has given to us.  Today more than ever we need more of Jesus in our lives.  We need to be a carrier of His presence and begin to open up a realm of worship so His glory can show up in our lives.  Because, when the glory shows up, salvation, healing, deliverance and restoration takes place in the soul.
